Applications are invited for Walk-in-Interview for Junior Research Fellow under DST funded project in ICAR -Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur -342003.

Project Entitled as - "Enhancing Food and Water Security in Arid Region through Improved Understanding of Quantity, Quality and Management of Blue, Green and Grey Water."

? Number of Positions - 01 for Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

? Essential Qualifications - Postgraduate degree in basic science (Botany with specialization in Plant Physiology or Biochemistry / Environmental Science) or Postgraduate degree in professional courses (Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture / Vegetable Science or Horticulture) selected through the process described through any one of the following:

• Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
• The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central; Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

? Desirable Qualifications -

1. Experience in vegetable crops research in open/ protected cultivation.
2. Experience in laboratory work: physio-biochemical / fruit quality/nutrient analysis.
3. Basic computer knowledge and statistical analysis tools.

? Emoluments - Rs. 31,000 + HRA (as admissible) per month.

? How to Apply -

1. Candidates fulfilling the qualification for the above position are invited to appear for a walk-in-interview to be held at the office of Dr. Praveen Kumar, PI, and Head, Division of Integrated Farming System, ICAR-CAZRI, Light Industrial Area, Jodhpur.
2. The candidate should bring the following documents along with bio-data on plain paper duly signed and pasted with a recent color passport size photograph on it.
3. The candidates should appear with the following -
   1. Original certificate of educational qualifications and their attested copies.
   2. Two testimonials of Character from two responsible gazetted officers relevant publications.
   3. Brief research work was carried during post graduations.
   4. No objection certificate from the employer in case of employment elsewhere.
   5. Experience certificate in original, if any
