Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of ‘Project Assistant’ in a SERB research
project in the Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai.

Project Entitled as - "Reversible CO2 Capture by Mesoporous Polymers and its Subsequent Conversion to Renewable Biodegrable Plastic: A Green Alternative to Petroleum - based Plastic Bottles and Other Polyester Product"

? Number of Positions - 01 for Project Assistant.

? Essential Qualifications - MSc (Chemistry/Nanotechnology/Nanoscience) from a recognized
institute/university or statutory body with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5-grade points on a scale of 10); For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score
(6.0-grade points on a scale of 10).

? Desirable  Qualifications - Preference will be given to candidates working experience relevant to the project. Candidates with expertise in the following are strongly encouraged to apply:

1. Solution-based synthesis of inorganic oxides nanostructures, porous nanomaterials.
2. Synthesis of polymers, investigation of kinetics, and mechanistic studies.
3. Expertise in different analytical techniques, including but not limited to GPC, XRD, SEM, AFM, NMR, IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
    

? Emoluments - Rs. 20,000/- per month.
