Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Types of Measures of Dispersion (1) Absolute Measures Absolute measures of dispersion are expressed in the unit of Variable itself. Like, Kilograms, Rupees, Centimeters, Marks etc. (2) Relative Measures Relative measures of dispersion are obtained as ratios or percentages of the average. These are also known as ‘Coefficient of dispersion.’ These are pure numbers or percentages totally independent of the units of measurements. Standard variation is an absolute measure of dispersion. When comparison has to be made between two series then the relative measure of dispersion, known as coeff.of variation is used. Stratified Random Sampling This method of sampling is sometimes used if there are wide variations in site performance within a certain geographic location or type of distribution site (i. e., health centers or schools). All the sites are grouped into segments, each having some uniform, easily identifiable characteristics. Each segment is sampled separately using unrestricted random sampling methods. so option c a is false but r is true
