BHU, Varanasi Invites Applications for the Post of JRF under DST-SERB Project

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DST-SERB sponsored project by the Department of Chemistry, Banaras Hindu University (BHU)- Varanasi.

The project is entitled “Development of Next Generation Peptide Nucleic Acid Nucleobases for Enhanced Antisense Therapy”

?Number of Positions – 01 for Junior Research Fellow

?Essential Qualifications –

1. M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks.
2. Preference will be given to UGC/CSIR-NET or GATE qualified candidates.

?Desirable Qualifications -

1. M.Sc. specialization in Organic Chemistry
2. The candidate should have good analytical skills.
3. The knowledge of characterization techniques of organic molecules is desirable
4. Familiarity with Nucleic Acid chemistry is also desirable.
5. The candidate should have good communication skills.

?Emoluments – As per SERB-DST Norms
