you can apply for jrf after m.sc., whereas for assistant Professor after Ph.D. UGC has made it mandatory from 2021 onwards that all assistant Professors must be recruited based on a minimum qualification of Ph.D. completed on or before 2021. For jrf, minimum qualification should be post graduation. Crack UGC NET jrf for availing monthly fellowship. or you can also apply for project assistant (jrf), where a monthly fellowship could be availed, though it may not necessarily result in your enrollment in any doctoral program. hope this helps.
m.sc. appearing can't opt for jrf. pne course could be persued at one time. for m.sc. appearing candidates thereother kind of fellowships, which you need to search.
