Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Descriptive research attempts to describe explain and interpret conditions of the present i.e., "what is". The purpose of of a descriptive research is to examine a phenomenon that is occurring at a specific place and time. A descriptive research is concerned with conditions, practices structures, differences or relationships that exist, opinions held, processes that are going on or trends that are evident. Basically correlational research, causal comparative research, survey research and development research all are a type of descriptive research. let us see the first descriptive research method i.e., correlational method.correlational research describes what exist at the moment bracket conditions , practices, processes, structures at 17 (close and is therefore classified as a type of descriptive method nevertheless, these conditions, practices, processes or structures described are remarkably different from the way they are usually described in a survey observational study. correlational research comprises of collecting data to determine whether, and to what extent, relationship exist between two or more quantifiable variables correlational research uses numerical data to explore relationships between two or more variables. Causal comparative research is a type of descriptive research since it describes conditions that already exist . it is a form of investigation in which the researcher has no direct control over independent variable as its expression has already orca or because they are essential in non manipulable. Survey research method studies large or small populations by selecting and studying samples chosen from the populations to discover the relative incidence, distribution for inter relationships among educational, psychological and sociological variables it collects data from a relative li large number of cases at a particular time. Developmental research method can be defined as the disciplined inquiry conducted in the context of the development of human beings for the purpose of either understanding the development process for improving the teaching learning process . for conducting a developmental research method the researcher can utilise a wide range of research methodologies, applying any tool that meets the requirements. the purpose of developmental research is to assess changes over an extended period of time. for example, developmental research would be an ideal choice to compare the academy, emotional and social development in slums and upper social economic status population it is most common when working with children as a subject for obvious reasons that these are at various stages of development. If we go back to what descriptive research actually means then the answer for your question is developmental research . it is not an exact descriptive research methodology because it is very extensive in terms of time span and it is utilising various other research search methodologies as well. all the other three like correlational method, causal comparative research method, survey research method described explain and interpret conditions of the present that is what is where is developmental research methodology doesn't do the same.
