Despite being nucleophilic (h-) how can lialh4 reduce an alkyne(nucleophilic) to give an alkene? also, can lialh4 reduce alkenes to alkanes?

Despite being Nucleophilic (H-) how can LiAlH4 reduce an alkyne(Nucleophilic) to give an alkene?

    Lithium aluminium hydride does not reduce simple alkenes or arenes. Alkynes are reduced only if an alcohol group is nearby

    LiAlH4 doesn't reduced Alkyne to Alkene or vice versa. But some cases are given below where reduction is possible

    Generally double and triple bond remains unaffected with lialh4....Sometym with certains condition reduction is possible
