After completing UGC NET Exam. You'll first get "Scorecard". A scorecard tells you your percentage marks and mark distribution in Paper 1 and Paper 2 and overall percentage. Along with percentage, it'll also tell you your percentile score that is your performance in relation to all the person who had appeared the test. For example, if you have a percentile score of 99%, you're at the top 1% qualifiers. Usually a percentile score of 95% + can get you NET and with 98 or 99%+ percentile score can get you JRF. A Scorecard will also tell you whether you've qualified for assistant professor only or JRF with assistant professor (the latter requires usually 7-8% more than NET cut-off and has more value). Now comes the E-Certificate which will be issued in your name. You'll get a NET qualifications certificate in both cases if you've qualified for only assistant professor or JRF with assistant professor. NET Certificate has lifetime validity. Now if you've qualified JRF, you'll also be issued a JRF Award Letter along with your NET E-Certificate, certifying your qualifications. A JRF Award Letter has many benefits. Firstly, you'll be receiving fellowship for a tenure of 5 years or till the completion of your PhD (whichever is earlier). Secondly, you'll be exempted to appear for PhD/MPhil written entrance test from most universities. But a JRF Award Letter is only valid for 3 years from the date of publication of the results. That means within that time you'll have to enroll yourself in a MPhil or PhD program from an University recognised by the UGC under section 12(b). If you've got only NET, you'll still receive preference over non NET qualifiers for higher education (MPhil/ PhD) . And if you don't want to study further, the NET Certificate makes you eligible for applying directly for the post of Assistant Professor all over India. I hope that will give you sufficient information about the documents. Thank you.
