Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Calculating Standard Error of the Mean (SEM) The SEM is calculated using the following formula: Standard Error - Formula = σ/√n Where: σ – Population standard deviation n – Sample size, i.e., the number of observations in the sample In a situation where statisticians are ignorant of the population standard deviation, they use the sample standard deviation as the closest replacement. SEM can then be calculated using the following formula. One of the primary assumptions here is that observations in the sample are statistically independent. Sample Standard Deviation - Formula = s/√n Where: s – Sample standard deviation n – Sample size, i.e., the number of observations in the sample so answer should be b. for wrong answer kindly mail to the eduncle regarding somany wrong answers.
