Appeal to Probability - Fallacy that occurs when something is taken for granted. This occurs due to logical assumptions - E.g. If I did not bring my rain coat (premise) It will rain (invalid conclusion) Argument From fallacy - Occurs when someone assumes that if an argument contains a logical fallacy then it's conclusion must be wrong - E.g. Person A said one should eat nutritious food (Premise ) Person B says one should eat bacon everyday to be healthy because it's nutritious (Invalid conclusion ) Base Rate Fallacy - Tendency to ignore and judge a situation with limited data - E.g. 10 out of 50 girls score good marks in maths. But only 1 out of 10 girls have scored higher means 1 test has been false. Conjunction Fallacy - When specific conditions are more probable than the single General one - E.g. A and B are two different fruits. The probability of choosing A and B is less that choosing A or B fruit Masked man Fallacy - Assuming that two or more names or descriptions refers to the same thing. - E.g. Actor A act's as a president in a movie. When the real president signs a file and it referred as actor A gas signed the file. Then it is a fallacy
