Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

what was your paper 2 subject and how you studied for that?
Commerce.
And it would be difficult to explain my entire preparation strategy in a few sentences cause it involves a lot of things and it mostly varies from students to students. But here it is. You see the best source of study material is your Bcom and Mcom books because that will help you understand the actual framework and theory rather than just cramming because in NET, it would matter a lot how good you've actually understood the underlying theories. So I'll always recommend you to buy/download/borrow PG Books and follow latest PG Syllabus and go through it in detail. I'm still in PG so I've a hold on the theories and I'm in touch with my studies. After pg, people usually lose that touch and it becomes harder for them. So if you've completed your PG, I'll recommend you to go through the books that your read and also read new books according to syllabus. Secondly, never underestimate Paper 1. Paper 1 is the deciding factor for most of the students. I personally accredit paper 1 marks for both my NET and JRF qualifications. Paper 1 makes you stay ahead and if you get hold of it, you have a sure shot chance to quailify. So regularly practice paper 1 and stuffs like reasoning, aptitude, logic, comprehension etc because in those questions, if you are aware of the underlying logic and pattern, then there's no scope of wrong answer and you can bag a lot of marks for free basically. So put emphasis on paper 1 and for paper 2, just study PG books, and if you're out of time, you can refer to Eduncle material too for revision and practice. Hope that helps. Thank you.
