Here why there is no transition from d5/2 to p1/2

here why there is no transition from D5/2 to P1/2....

    transition not occur in these two state bcoz of they not fulfil the condition of transition... for explanation see attached file.... I hope you will get it

    dear see attached . it's just because of salections rule. only those transition are allowed for which cahnge in j or ∆j = 0 or +1, -1. if this is not so or ∆j is not equal to this then transition are not allowed. see attached.
