    means |A+B| is not equal to |A|+|B| always . but if we break any matrix in two then det is sum of det of two matrices ??? yahi hua na sir ?

    so i tried with these same breaking of matrices but finding their eigen values and then adding them and multiplying

    its given like this in book but i think determinant of |A+B| Is not equal to |A| +|B|
