    Dear Student,

     

    CSIR NET is conducted for those aspirants who wish to apply under Science stream only while UGC NET is conducted for those aspirants who wish to apply in all the streams.

    As you are pursuing M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, you are eligible for the CSIR UGC-NET Exam and the best subject to appear is Chemical Sciences for the exam.

     

    Mode of Exam - Online/CBT (Computer Based Test)

    Eligibility Criteria - To apply for the Exam you have to score minimum 55% aggregate marks in the masters.

    Exam Conduction - CSIR conducts the NET Exam twice in a year (June and December).

    Exam Pattern

    a) In Chemical Science, there are 20 Question in Part - A, 40 Questions in Part - B and 60 Question in Part - C. 

    b) The Candidate is required to answer maximum of 15, 35 and 25 questions from Part-A, Part-B and Part-C respectively.

    c) Questions in Part A, B and C will carry 2, 2 and 4 marks respectively.

    d) The Maximum Marks in the exam is 200. There will be negative marking for incorrect answer.

    e) There is negative marking of one-fourth marks for incorrect answers.
