IACS, Kolkata Invites Applications for the Post of Research Associate

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate-I under Chemical Biology on Nucleotide Chemistry sponsored project by the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science.

The project is entitled “Synthesis and Biological Applications of Oligonucleotide-Based Antisense Reagents for Gene Silencing"

?Number of Positions –  Research Associates - 01

?Essential Qualifications –

1. Candidate should have first-class B.Sc. & M.Sc.degree  with a minimum average of 60% marks.
2. A Ph.D. degree related to the subject of Chemical Biology of Nucleotide chemistry / modified nucleotide synthesis / DNA-RNA synthesis.

?Desirable Qualification - Experience in nucleotide and modified nucleotide synthesis, DNA/RNA synthesis and antisense reagents, Gel electrophoresis, Cell-biology related experiments, PCR and Microscopy (confocal), FACS, etc. 

?Emoluments –  As per rules of the Association.
