ICAR-IARI Jobs 2021 : Vacancy for the post of JRF AND SRF

Applications are invited to attend Online Interview in DBT and SERB funded projects at the Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-12.

1. For The Post of  Junior Research Fellow as a project entitled "Mapping of QTLs for Drought Tolerance in Mungbean.

? Number of Positions -  01 for JRF

? Essential Qualifications - Postgraduate degree in basic science (Life Sciences) or graduate/ post-graduate degree in professional courses (Life Sciences including Agricultural Sciences) selected through a process described through any one of the following -

• Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET include lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
• The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE. DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR. IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

? Desirable Qualifications - Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping.

? Emoluments - 

• JRF- 31000/- + 24% HRA  for the first and second year per month.
• SRF - 35,000/- + 24% HRA for the third year per month.

2. For The Post of  Junior Research Fellow as a project entitled "Molecular Mapping and Construction of Linkage Maps for Improving Aluminium Tolerance and Phosphorus Acquisition Efficiency in Lentil for the Cultivation in Acidic Soils of North East Hill States."

? Number of Positions -  01 for JRF.

? Essential Qualifications - Postgraduate degree in basic science or graduate/ post-graduate degree in professional courses selected through a process described through any norms given in DST Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 i.e

1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through the national level exam conducted by Central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

? Desirable Qualifications - Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping.

3. For The Post of  Senior Research Fellow as a project entitled "Development of High-Density Linkage Map and Tagging Salinity Tolerance in Lentil using Genotyping–by-Sequencing Approach for Improving Salt Tolerance."

? Number of Positions -  01 for Senior Research Fellow (SRF).

? Essential Qualifications - Postgraduate degree in basic science or graduate/post-graduate degree in professional courses selected through a process described through any norms given in DST Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 i.e

1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) and GATE
2. The selection process through the national level exam conducted by Central government departments and their agencies and institutes such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
3. SRF: Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience.

? Desirable Qualifications - Experience in molecular markers and proficiency in computer skills.

? Emoluments - 

1. SRF - 35,000/- + 24% HRA for the third year per month.

? How to Apply -

1. The candidates will have to compulsorily fill in the application form (as per the format annexed), all the scan certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and a recent photograph enclosed onto the scan application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be sent by email.

2. The selected candidate will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificates at the time of joining.
