Applications are invited from suitable candidates for position of Junior Research Fellow in a SERB funded project in the laboratory of Dr Tulika Prakash Srivastava,IIT Mandi.
Project Entitled as - "Evaluation and Design of Novel Synthetic Microbial Consortia for Bioprocessing of Rubber and Plastic Waste to Industrial Biomolecules."
? Number of Positions - 01 Junior Research Fellow.
? Essential Qualifications - M.Sc./B. Tech or equivalent degree with 60% marks in Life Sciences/Computational Biology/ Biotechnology or relevant subject area
? Desirable Qualifications - Knowledge and experience in both the computational biology and experimental biology, and those who have qualified GATE/NET/or other equivalent national
level exam or having post graduate degree in engineering will be preferred.Excellent communication skills, Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, Willingness to learn new techniques. IIT Mandi reserves the right to fix a higher criteria for short-listing of eligible
candidates from those satisfying the advertised qualification and requirement of the project post.
? Fellowship - Rs 25,000-31000/- per month depending on qualification and experience as per SERB guidelines.
