IIT-Patna Recruitment 2021 - For the Post of JRF in Dept. of Mathematics


Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow under Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi sponsored project by the Indian Institute of Technology - Patna at the Department of Mathematics.

The project is entitled “Skew Cyclic Codes Over the Extension of Z4 and their Applications in Quantum and DNA Computing"

?Number of Positions –  Junior Research Fellow - 01

?Essential Qualifications –

  • M. Sc. (Mathematics) degree with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks.
  • CSIR-NET Qualified is preferred.


?Emoluments –  Rs. 31,000/- (for 2 years) & Rs. 35,000/- (3rd year)

?How to Apply – Interested and eligible candidates may send their CV to the Department of Mathematics, IIT Patna, Bihta, Patna – 801106 with an updated resume along with the original copies of all supporting documents (certificates, mark-sheets, and degrees).
