Is there uracil present in RNA primer which is used in DNA replication? If yes, what happens with this base ultimatelIy

    I think the rna primer would contain U base and would appropriately basepair with A. However, later these rna primers are removed and replaced by dntps by action of different enzymes in eukaryotes and prokaryotes respectively. for better clarification what enzymes helps in removal of rntps and addition of dtntps plz read watson replication chapter.

    ok I understand but why don't it make any trouble when uracil of rna primer bind with adanine of dna

    why would it cause any problem it is satisfying the H bonding criteria! The N1 of A acts as H acceptor while N3 of Uracil acts as H donor and similarly NH2 group of C6 of adenine H bonds with O of C4 of cytosine.

    ok U can bind with A in DNA so why DNA has only ATGC base pair or why DNA use T instead of U if dna can make bond with U
