Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

correct answer is 24...here is the solution in detail: from the question it is clear that jayesh is middle brother so he's having a elder brother Anil and a younger brother Prashant and it is already mentioned in question that the age gap between anil and jayesh is same as that of jayesh n prashant so if we take 4 years in common and jayesh's age to be 24 than after adding 4 to 24 we get 28 i.e age of his elder brother Anil and if we substract 4 from 24 we get 20 i.e the age of younger brother Prashant and now adding the ages of Anil and prashant which is already given in question we get 48 i.e 28 + 20 = 48......n here is a tip to answer such questions ..while such questions always look for the options first and then from there u can easily calculate
thank you sir
