Job Openings in Department of Life Science by NIT Rourkela

Applications are invited for the online interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow for a CSIR sponsored project in the Department of Life Science of the Institute, NIT, Rourkela.

The project is entitled “Role of Microorganisms on the Productivity of the Bhitarkanika Mangrove Forest and Potentiality of Rhizosphere Inhabiting Bacteria in Mangrove Reforestation.”

? Number of Positions - 01 for Junior Research Fellow. 

? Essential Qualifications - M.Sc./M.Tech in Life Science / Microbiology /Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Botany / Environmental Science / Marine Biology / Marine Science or related
subjects with 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA in 10 point scale with GATE or NET of UGC / CSIR / ICMR / DBT / ICAR candidates.

? Desirable Qualification - Research experience or knowledge in environmental microbiology, bacterial biofilm, mangrove biology, and the coastal ecosystem will be preferred.

? Emoluments - Rs 31,000/- per month.
