Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow, to work in a DST- NSM sponsored research project sanctioned to the undersigned in Savitribai Phule Pune University.
? Number of Positions - 01 for Junior Research Fellow.
? Essential Qualifications - M.Sc. in Physics with Condensed Matter Physics/Materials Science, Solid state physics, Quantum mechanics and Statistical mechanics courses from a well reputed educational institute with at least B grade or 55% marks, good programming skills with Fortran or C/C++ on Unix/ Linux and experience in numerical methods.
? Desired Qualification - Research experience in computational materials science, Good understanding of calculus. Experience in plotting data with visualization software. Experience with writing shell scripts, python programming, and parallel programming will be an added consideration.
? Emoluments - Rs. 31000 + HRA as per DST norms.
