Job vacancy for the Post of JRF at Punjab Agricultural University

Punjab Agricultural University has invited applications for the Post of Junior Research Fellow.

The project entitled  “Fine Mapping, Cloning, and Validation of Brown Planthopper Resistance Introgressed from Oryza Nivara into O. Sativa L” CSS-59 (PC-6324).”

? Number of Positions - 01 for Junior Research Fellow.

? Essential Qualifications -

1. B. Sc. with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Genetics / Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Life Sciences with at least 6.50/ 10.00 or 65% marks.

? Fellowship -

1. Rs. 31,000/- per month fixed + 16 % HRA for 1st and 2nd year and
2. For third-year SRF @ Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA 16%.

? How to Apply - Eligible candidates can send the application fee of Rs. 200/- in the shape of online payment on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in favor of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana along with attested copies of certificates for these positions in projects

Note-I The Candidates who do not possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at the Master’s level will be eligible for the post.

Note-II The Candidate must have passed the NET/GATE Exam or any national examination conducted by Central Government, Departments, and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, etc.
