Applications are invited for post of Junior Research Fellow Appointment for a sponsored research project under Centre for Atmospheric Sciences (CAS),IIT Delhi.
Project Entitled - “Low Pressure Systems (LPSs) and their Nonlinear Interaction with Other Scales in Atmosphere through the Lens of Scale Energetics (Sub Project under M102364 STC activity RP04125GC”.
? Number of Positions - 01 Junior research fellow (JRF) .
? Essential Qualifications -
- 1st class M.Sc. degree in Mathematics/ Physics/Atmospheric/ Oceanic/Climate Sciences/Meteorology with NET/GATE or 1st class M. Tech degree in Science/ Atmospheric/Oceanic/Climate Meteorology with GATE.
- Experience related to atmospheric modeling, handling of large atmosphere data, and programming skill in Python are desirable.
- The requirement of NET/GATE examination forvthe selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTls) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 80%
? Fellowship - Rs.31,000/-p.m. + HRA 24% per month.
? How to Apply -
1. 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST Candidates. In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, his/her salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.
2.
