An online interview will be conducted for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the following research project sponsored by Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Govt. of India in the Department of Geophysics, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (Haryana), India.
Project Entitled as - "Exhumation of the Higher Himalayan Crystalline (HHC), Ramgarh Thrust sheet and Lesser Himalayan Sequence (LHS) in the Garhwal region, NW-Himalaya: Using Fission Track and (U-Th)/He Thermochronolosv.”
? Number of Positions - 01 for Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
? Essential Qualifications -
- 1st class Master's degree in Applied Geology/Geology with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects in B.Sc.
- NET Qualified.
- In case no NET qualified candidate is available then GATE qualified candidate may be considered tor JRF.
? Desirable Qualifications - Candidates having experience working in the Himalayas and in thermochronology.
? Emoluments - Rs 31 ,000/- + 8% HRA per month.
