Linear algebra - please explain the following. (p: 317)

    I think the domain must be V3 also.... because T is defined on the three standard basis vectors e1, e2, e3.... So, assuming our domain to be V3, see the attachment for solution

    p(T) denotes rank of T.... n(T) denotes nullity of T

    do you still have any doubt?.... see I used the symbols to represent rank and nullity of T... since the sum of rank and nullity is equal to the dimension of codomain V3, which is in accordance with the statement of rank nullity theorem, therefore the theorem is satisfied
