    Yes you can definitely apply for the NET [National Eligibility Test] in the subject of Environmental Science if you have completed M.Sc with Botany. The National Eligibility Test is conducted for those candidates who are interested in the following posts : a) Junior Research Fellowship b) Lectureship But before application , you need to check that whether you fulfill all the required eligibility criteria for NET or not. Eligibility Criteria 1. You have to complete PG course is any stream. 2. Must be able to obtain 55 percent or more marks. 3. There is 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidate. 4. During final year also you are eligible to apply. 5. Final year candidates must submit their PG degree in 2 years. 6. Your NET subject will be Environmental Science. 7. There is no limit on number of attempts. Age Limit 1. JRF candidate should not be older than 28 years. 2. There is no upper limit for lectureship.
