NIPGR Announces Opening for JRF

Applications are invited for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship”, NIPGR under the supervision of Dr. Prabhakaran Sundararajan, Scientist, NIPGR in a DBT/DST research project.

? Number of Positions - 02 for Junior Research Fellow.

? Essential Qualifications -

1. Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Plant Breeding/ Life Sciences or related fields with at least 55% (or equivalent) marks in master degree are eligible to apply.
2. Candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests as mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum Number No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019 .

? Desirable Qualifications - Preference will be given to candidates with previous work experience in Brassica, Agrobacterium-mediated transformation, with proven track record of publications.

? Fellowship -  As per DBT/DST and NIPGR fellowship norms.

? How to Apply -

1. Eligible candidates may apply by sending softcopy through e-mail in the given format with a cover letter showing interest along with self-attested softcopies of the mark-sheets, certificates, (from class X onwards) and proof of research experience/publications. A single pdf file, consisting of application form, cover letter, and all documents, must be sent to prabhu89@nipgr.ac.in within 15 days from the date of advertisement.
2. The candidates must ascertain their eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed.
3. Canvassing in any form or bringing influence, political or otherwise,will lead to disqualification of the candidate(s).
