NIPGR Announces Opening for Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a DBT sponsored project  under the supervision of Dr. Senthil-Kumar Muthappa, Scientist, NIPGR.

Project Entitled as - “Characterization of Chickpea Germplasm Resource to Accelerate Genomics - Assisted Crop Improvement.”

? Number of Positions - 01 for Junior Research Fellow.

? Essential Qualifications - Candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests as mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019 with Master’s degree in Plant Pathology/Plant Mycology/Agriculture/life sciences with at least 55% (or equivalent) marks in master degree are eligible to apply.

? Fellowship -  As per DST/DBT norms.

? How to Apply -

1. Eligible candidates may apply by sending soft copy through e-mail in the given format with a cover letter
showing interest.

2. The soft copy of the self- attested copies of the mark-sheets, certificates, (10th standard
onwards) and proof of research experience/publications should be attached with the application.

3. A single pdf file, consisting of application from cover letter, and all documents, must be sent to
skmuthappa@nipgr.ac.in within 15 days from the date of advertisement. Canvassing in any form or
bringing influence, political or otherwise, will lead to disqualification of the candidate(s).
