NIT Rourkela Jobs Announced for the Post of JRF

National Institute of Technology, Rourkela has Invited Applications for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) sponsored by DST-Agro TDP project in the Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering.

The project is entitled “Design, Development & Demonstration of Struvite Recovery by Electrocoagulation from Urinal Systems for Fertilizer Applications”. 

? Number of Positions – 01 for Junior Research Fellow. 

? Essential Qualifications – Post-Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

? Desirable Qualifications - Prior research experience in environmental biotechnology/reactor design/instrumentation/material characterization is preferred but not mandatory.

? Emoluments – INR 31,000/- per month.
