why we are supposing x=acos t, y=a sin t? question is not saying to prove any particular value. then why this supposirion has taken?

    See here you have to integrate F.dr around the closed circular path x2+y2=a2. so here are two variable in the integration x and y. But if we use parametric equation of a circle i.e, x=acos t, y=a sin t then we can transform the two variable in the integration into 1 (in terms of t).In that case integration will be easier. we have to write x and y in terms of t as done in the solution. convert the limits of x and y to limit of t also.
