council of minister including prime minister is collectively responsible to the loksabha ( article 75),other than the provision of no confidence motion there are certain other situations where COM has to resign are •when prime minister resign from office it gets atomatically dissolved •when motion of thanks addressed by president is not passed in parliament it leads to defeat of government and hence the COM •if in certain condition passes of cut motion leads to lack of confidence in the government and can lead to resignation
