intermediates + reactions mechanism, reagent+synthesis are the most important because a lot of questions come from it in gate exam

jst cover-up the syllabus of bsc level n try to get the concepts, behind all, n u can see the syllabus of the jam exam in site n so which u can reduce the syllabi n focus on those topics.. Try to get the best books to get the concepts like jd lee or james hui fr inorganic chemistry, Clayden for organic chemistry, puri sharma or Atkins for physical,h j arnikar for nuclear, chemistry..In my view these r. The best books..N study hard fr it..U will excellent. Organic chemistry is the easiest part to be studied for IIT JAM. Trust me…! Start with the basic concepts like electronic effects (resonance, inductive etc). Learn acid base chemistry. Then go for studying the reaction intermediates followed by reagents. Only then you can start studying named reactions and pericyclic reactions. The one part you need to be careful about is Heterocyclic reactions. The Biomolecules part is related to what we studied in 10+2 level. And do the preparation in this order, I am sure you will get cleared up for IIT JAM.
