Please explain objective of teaching

The general objectives of teaching are as follows- 1. To provide the essential and practical knowledge and skills that can help one in real life. Even though a home is the first place where a person starts their first education but it is in school that one is slowly refined, disciplined and nurtured to be a better and an efficient human being. 2. To change the behaviour and conduct of a student.When one is receiving quality education and good training in life, then the overall attitude and the personality of that person also undergoes a tangible change. A person becomes more humble, sorted and wise and thus a good education leads to the formation of better citizens. 3. Leads to the overall development of students as better citizens of the country. Good education is what leads to the inculcation of good moral and social values, discipline, punctuality, communal unity, teamwork and leadership in oneself. A student is supposed to be a future asset to the country if he implements his skills while maintaining a good character. One who is disciplined and has ethics makes it far ahead in life. Whatever is learnt in school might help in practical life if implemented but it is the moral and good strong ethics taught in school that helps form an efficient and a social member of the society. 4. Last but not the least when a child is taught well, he or she rapidly takes an interest in the field of his or her choice and starts to explore that area further. Someone who develops and aptitude in English can become a great scholar or a fantastic professor later in life. Someone who is into physics can make a fantastic discovery and get world recognition. One gets an in depth knowledge in a particular field which can also help them make a career out of it too. You can also add your own points but these are more than enough. Hope it helps!
