Presidency University Openings - Apply for the Post of JRF Department of Geology

Presidency University, Kolkata has Invited Applications for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DST-SERB sponsored project at the Department of Geology.

The project is entitled “A Critical Insight into Water-Rock Interaction in a Highly Acidic Environment: A Case Study from Matanomadh, Gujarat, India”

?Number of Positions – 01 for Junior Research Fellow

?Essential Qualifications -

1. First-class M.Sc. Degree in Geology, Applied Geology from a recognized university.
2. CSIR/UGC­-NET JRF/LS Exam Qualified will be preferred.

?Desirable Qualifications - Applicants having at least 1-year of research experience in the Geological field and geological-modeling-related research work will be given preference.

?Emoluments –

• Rs 31,000 per month + 24% HRA = Rs. 38,440 per month (1st & 2nd year).
• Rs 35,000 per month + 24% HRA = Rs. 43,400 per month (3rd year).
