Q-a(3-t) where q, Z, , are the charge, z coordinate and distance of ith proton from centre of the nucieus Determine the quadrupole moment of the nucleus, when () proton is at a distance z = +R on the z-axis. (ii) proton is on the nuclear equator at a distance x = +R.
