    What about Pi in complex numbers.... There is no such polynomial in Q for which pi is its root..so C is not algebraic extension of Q

    Q is subfield of R and C R(Q) and C(Q) are vector space so R and C are extension of Q But R is not algebraic extension of Q bcz root of x²+1=0 not lie in R
