Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology Announces Opening for JRF

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in an ICMR funded research project entitled in the Laboratory of Dr. S. Sreeja at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

Project-  "Elucidating the Regulatory Role of E=Epigenetic Players in 27 Hydroxycholesterol (27HC) Mediated Breast Cancer Proliferation"

? Number of Positions - 01 Junior Research Fellow.
 
? Essential Qualifications -

1. Good Academic records with First Class Master's Degree in Biotechnology.
2. The Candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam/ Approved DST Inspire Fellowship etc.
3. The candidate should have a minimum of one-year experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
    

? Desirable Qualifications - Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in molecular biology and Cell biology techniques.

? Fellowship - Rs. 31,000/- per month + 16% HRA.
