    since they are neoschiziomers thus they can cut same nucleotide sequence but at different positions..since here xma1 is being used..it will cut its own site in addition to the sma1 site..since it is a circular dna thus 3 fragments would be produced.. hence the answer is - 3fragments

    it a circular plasmid and have only 1 site Xal so when u cleave that site the plasmid will get open so only 1 fragment
