The existentialist philosophers such as Nietzsche , Sophenhaur, Sartre , Camus talked about the absurdity of existence which finds it's manifestation in Modern poetry like Eliot and in drama such as Beckett , Ionesco. the themes that dealt with are meaninglessness of life, absurdity of existence, man's struggle to find solution to it but failing repeatedly, lack of spirituality in Modern industrial life, the process of recovery etc.
