I will try to simplify your query hope you will satisfy with this Suppose there is a series of 20 numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19 and 20 ok Now sum these numbers 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16+17+18+19+20 = 210 ok In question its 0 ok so now think how can we make this sum 0 What will be the maximum possible number for positive its 19 now see how it is - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19 and - 190 Getting my point what I'm trying to say. Now you understand what the question is asking, The question want to ask here how many such numbers are there in the 20 number series that can comes positive. Now sum that series again im sure it will be 0 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16+17+18+19-190 = 0 Now you understand how it comes 19 that means 19 is a maximum number of positive numbers Hope you understand with this explanation.

actually it is asking at most how many means maximum possibility of no. of students got positive marks. here total no. are 20, so most how 19 are quite possible and due to 20th the sum got 0.
