Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Hello. This is a fairly easy to understand question. as I've explained in your previous question the concept of correlation coefficient, I'm simply going to explain you the answer. Suppose the sum total of observations X and Y is 10. For this, if x is 1, y will be 9 if x is 2, y will be 8 if x is 3, y will be 7 and so on.. we can see that this is a perfectly negative correlation (-1) as the value of x goes down, the value of y goes up in equal proportions and if the value of x goes up, the value of y goes down in equal proportions. so this is an example of perfect negative (-1) correlation.
