    Dear student The answer is 'A' both true. consumer obviously try to maximize his utility and when he has choices he will spend on the good/service which gives him maximum utility, this principle is known as 'biggest bang for the buck'. second he will be maximum utilised when his extra expenditure brings the same increment in each good/service. hope it is clear to you.
