Vacancy Announced by IIT Delhi for Junior Research Fellowship

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a sponsored project under the Centre for Biomedical Engineering CBME, IIT Delhi.

Project Entitled as "Assa Development for Multiplexed PCR Microchi M102341G."

? Number of Positions -  01 for Junior Research Fellow

? Essential Qualifications -

1. M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/relevant engineering disciplines with valid NET/GATGE* qualification. Experience in molecular biology assays, PCR, multiplexed PCR and good hands-on experience with microbiology/cell culture in BSL2 and above setup.
2. Candidates not having these skill sets need not apply. Having worked on biosensor technology with optical transducer system and any publication as firstTJ0int author shall be added advantage.
3. Candidates with good track record during the project may further be considered for enrolment to Ph.D. program The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTls) with a CGPA of more han 8.000 80% a re ate marks.

? Emoluments - Re 31,000/- +  24% HRA.

? How to Apply -

1. 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST Candidates. In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, his/her salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.
2. The candidates who are interested to apply for the above post should download Form No. IRD/REC-4 from the IRD Website (http:mrd.iitd.ac.in/rec) of IIT Delhi and submit' the duly filled form with complete information regarding educational qualifications indicating percentage of marks/division, details of work experience etc. by e-mail with advertisement No. on the subject line to Prof. Sandeep Kumar Jha at email id: sandeepkjha@gmail.com
3. No candidate, who is already employed at the Institute / IRD permanently, shall be interviewed unless his/her application has been forwarded by their concerned establishment/sections.

1. IIT Delhi reserves the right to fix higher criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates from those satisfying advertised qualification and requirement of the project post and their name will be displayed on web link (http://ird.iitd.ac.in/shortlisted) alongwith the online interview details.
