Vacancy Announced by RGCB for Junior Research Fellowship

Applications are invited for position of Junior Research Fellow in an SERB funded research project entitled in the Laboratory of Dr. Ruby John Anto at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
 
Project Entitled - “"Evaluation of Ultroside B, a furanosyl Saponin from Solanum Nigrum Linn as a Candidate Drug Molecule against Aflatoxin-iInduced Liver Carcinogenesis and Non - Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH)” .”
 
? Number of Positions - 01 for Junior Research Fellow.

? Essential Qualifications -

1. Good Academic records with First Class Master’s Degree in any branch of Life Science or Biotechnology.
2. The Candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam/ Approved DST Inspire Fellowship etc.
3. The candidate should experience in mammalian cell culture, animal handling and molecular biology techniques.

? Desirable qualification - The Candidate having experience in in vitro and in vivo NASH Models.

? Emoluments -

1. Rs 31,000/- + 18% HRA per month for the first two years and Rs. 35,000/- + 18% HRA for the third Year.
2. Candidate who qualify all other eligibility criteria except national eligibility test will be eligible for Rs.12,000/- + 18 % HRA.

? How to Apply -

1. Suitably qualified candidates may send applications in the prescribed format with a photograph, a copy of full resume indicating the percentage of marks obtained and attested photocopies of credentials and experience to reach the undersigned only through Email.
2. Candidates who are currently working in Govt. firms should send applications through proper channel. Application form along with all supporting documents should be submitted as a single PDF file to pmdjobs@rgcb.res.in.
3. The Advertisement number along with the position for which the candidate is applying should be mentioned in the 'SUBJECT' part of the Email.
4. If a candidate wishes to apply for different positions, separate application forms should be submitted for each position. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
