    Greetings!!

    Somatic Recombination occurs by Double strand DNA breaks in somatic cells. In this phenomenon Chromosomal translocations or deletions occurs while somatic Hypermutation induces mutation in antigen binding V(D)J sequence as substitution of individual bases (point mutations).
