Halo effect and Horn effect both terms are part of selection process in HRM while interview of applicants. HALO EFFECT: A positive first impression that leads us to treat someone more favourably. An example of the halo effect is when one assumes that a good-looking person in a photograph is also an overall good person. HORN EFFECT: A negative first impression that leads us to treat someone less favourably. A common example of this is overweight people, who unfortunately are often stereotyped as being lazy, slovenly or irresponsible. still there are queries please ask.
