    Areopagitica: A speech of Mr. John Milton for the Liberty of Unlicenc'd Printing, to the Parlament of England is a political prose work by John Milton published in 1644.
    The Shortest Way with Dissenters: Also entitled as Proposals for the Establishment of the Church the pamphlet of 29 pages received much official wrath. It opens with the fable of the Cock and the Horses.
    A Modest Proposal: The pamphlet was written under the influence of Defoe's The Shortest Way with the Dissenters. Swift wrote it with grave concern that poor people's children from twelve to eighteen months old should be used as food for the rich.
    Reflections on the Revolution in France: A political pamphlet which is considered an attack against French Revolution, was written by the Irish statesman Edmund Burke and published in November 1790.
