the Frankfurt school and Raymond Williams and his peers are often termed as Neo Marxists. though the term is debatelable as it encompasses a whole range of philosophers... even cultural materialists
In the study notes there is a short section on Neo-Marxism, and the critics mentioned are - Michal Kalecki, Paul A Baran, Paul Sweezy, Tereza McDowell and Rhea Almeida. I read in Wikipedia and most of them are economists. The concept is very interesting and I am looking for Neo-Marxist critics concerned with literature and cultural studies.
Yes, both of them have rejuvenated Marxism. They are the actual neo-marxists when it comes to cultural studies. Thank you Sir.
