The sisters referred in this poem are ambiguous and is not evident that they are only three in number. It simple refers to the "Valkyrie" sisters mythically. It is most probably 12 female gigantic figures who were looming and sung a dreadful song as they wove. They resided in the Hall of Odin or Paradise of the brave. The place where they attended the banquet and served the departed heroes.
